The Wine List has been arranged not by country of origin but by grape variety, giving you the opportunity to compare 'old world' with 'new world' wines.
Your stay includes membership of Cascades, our own health and fitness club. Enjoy a swim in the ozone purified pool, or unwind in the whirlpool, sauna, steam room or solariums. The more energetic may prefer the championship squash courts, or in the grounds you can enjoy the all-weather tennis courts, a putting course and driving net. To explore locally, mountain bikes are available for hire.
On the first floor, we are justifiably proud of the purpose built exercise studio and spacious new air conditioned gymnasium, containing the latest resistance and cross training cardiovascular exercise facilities. Please note that the hotel is refurbishing the Pool Hall during January and February 2008 and therefore the Pool, Steam room, Spa Pool, and Sauna will not be available to guests during this time. The Gym, Squash Courts and other amenities will still be fully operational.

It is hard to believe that the beautiful Lakeland Village can be found a mere 20 minutes drive from the M6 motorway. Take junction 36 and follow the A590 to Barrow. Just through Newby Bridge, there is a stretch of dual carriageway, which ends with a sharp bend to the left. A few hundred yards along the straight that follows, the Whitewater Hotel and Lakeland Village is the turning on the right.
